Computing

We are a Small School with Big Aspirations and a Huge Heart.

Our Curriculum is built on our Core Values: Courage, Compassion and Creativity

Children have the confidence and freedom to be creative, ask questions and approach challenges with courage and resilience. A firm foundation in reading, writing and maths allows our children to flourish in all areas of the curriculum.

Through The Sarratt Way, Children learn to treat others the way they would like to be treated themselves. They understand the need to be compassionate and care for the world around them.

Our Creative approach allows children to develop a love of learning and acquire the skills necessary to thrive in the modern world.

Computing Curriculum

Our Computing Curriculum is delivered through The National Centre for Computing Education, which is funded by the Department for Education and supporting partners and created by experts. The computing sessions inspire children with a range of skills and concepts in the computing curriculum, with an aim to enhanced skills and future goals in a modern digital world. Along with a range of programming elements for both KS1 and KS2, the units incorporate key knowledge and understanding to ensure preparation for using technology devices safely and responsibly.
